Leanne HainsJuly 28, 2024. Christine SableJuly 28, 2024. This was truly a beautiful experience, listening to the instrumental version of a string quartet some of Coldplay‘s greatest hits. The musicians truly did a beautiful job of interpreting the music. The setting of the Market Trust building was truly magical with all of the candles. However, there are a couple things that I think could have been better. First of all the ads for the concert all show a piano and pianist, and there was a piano on stage. However, no one played the piano the entire time. Would have enjoyed having a piano accompany some of the songs. Second, the seats are somewhat uncomfortable, but at least it’s only a one hour concert. Because you’re seated in sections and not by reserved seats, I recommend getting there 40 to 45 minutes early so that you can get in line and assure yourself of getting a decent seat. If you arrive towards the later time and there’s more than one person in your party, there might be two seats available but they may be in two different rows. So get there early if you have more than one person In your party. The other thing that I objected to, is that at the end of the concert, the musicians Made a solicitation about giving them tips on the way out of the concert. I just feel that is very inappropriate. I have never been to any sort of classical concert or theatrical production, where the players requested tips, especially when you’re already paying $60-$70 per person for a ticket. I just really think that is out of line and the whole tipping culture has gotten ridiculous. Last thing just some information, it states that no one will be permitted to be seated once the production starts, and that the doors will be closed. This made me wonder if one would be able to get up and use the restroom in the middle of the concert if needed. The entire time during the concert the Main entry door into the hallway remain open. So you can definitely go in and out during the concert if you need to. The only other thing that I would mention is that that a program with list of songs was provided for the concert, but the list of songs they played was not entirely the same. There were a few changes and substitutions. I personally didn’t have any problem with this, but I’m thinking it’s not a good idea to advertise a specific program and then not play those songs. Some people might be disappointed not to hear their favorites. Overall, I thought it was a very lovely experience and I really enjoyed hearing The instrumental version of Coldplay’s music. I would be likely to attend one of these again. Nicole BarthalowJuly 28, 2024. Such a unique and moving atmosphere and performance. We will be booking more shows!!! Jared SullivanMay 31, 2024. Beautiful evening John WinklerMay 19, 2024. This event was excellent. The only saddening thing is that it didn’t last a bit longer. The ambiance and mood was perfect. Pam LazosApril 14, 2024.
