Square Halo Conference
March 6 - March 7
Event Navigation
The Trust Performing Arts Center is honored to host Square Halo, a two-day gathering celebrating the intersection of faith, creativity, and community through music, art, storytelling, and thoughtful conversation.
This year’s keynote address will be given by Curt Thompson, author of The Soul of Desire and a contributor to Ordinary Saints. Throughout the weekend, attendees will experience a rich lineup of artists and thinkers, including featured speakers Steve Prince, a contributor to Revealed, and Roy Salmond, author of the new Sacred Hmmms trilogy.
Saturday evening will conclude with a concert by Jon Guerra, while the theatrical centerpiece of the conference will be a dramatic reading and musical presentation by Ellie Green and company, inspired by Among the Lilies: The Song of Songs Annotated & Illustrated. An accompanying art exhibit, also centered on Among the Lilies, will be on display throughout the event.
In addition to mainstage sessions, Square Halo offers immersive, hands-on experiences. Guests can participate in a pop-up printmaking workshop with Ned Bustard, creative making opportunities with Horst Arts, and The Goodness poetry reading hosted by Nooks with Leslie. Attendees will also have the chance to sit in on a live recording of the Square Halo podcast and be part of a live recording of The Habit podcast with Jonathan Rogers.
Registration and the on-site bookstore open Friday at 8:00am, with the first session beginning at 9:15am. The conference concludes Saturday evening with the Jon Guerra concert, starting at 7:30pm.
Square Halo invites all who are curious, creative, and seeking meaningful connection to come and be part of a weekend marked by beauty, collaboration, and community.
