Dr. Robert Bigley

Dr. Robert Bigley is the founding Director of The Trust Performing Arts Center. He stepped into the role in 2013 while serving as Coordinator of the Music Performance program at Lancaster Bible College, where he continues to serve as Director of Choral and Vocal Studies.

He is beyond grateful for Lancaster’s enthusiastic support for The Trust and is always eager to elevate the arts in our community. Aside from programming the Arts and Culture Series at LBC and The Trust, Robert is active in Lancaster’s performing arts scene as a professional actor. He has performed with Fulton Theatre (Mamma Mia!, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Newsies, Big the Musical), Servant Stage Co. (Titanic, HMS Pinafore), and PRiMA Theatre (Jekyll and Hyde, Evita). He also recently portrayed Sigmund Freud in Reverie Actors Co.’s staging of the two-man show Freud’s Last Session here at The Trust.

Robert holds degrees from the University of Miami, the Eastman School of Music, and the University of Washington. He and his wife, the pianist Kendra Bigley, have three amazing children and two awesome children-in-law.
