Is Lancaster a Strong Town?
November 8 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8 at 7 PM
What makes a town strong or weak? Why are so many towns and small cities struggling? What can be done to make Lancaster an even better place?
Some seem to have a proud sense of place. They pulsate with cultural energy and prosper financially.
Many others, however, feel depleted of energy, sufficient revenue, and creative momentum.
Or towns need Mr. Wright!
As Development Director for Strong Towns, Inc., Bo is an energetic champion of revitalizing towns such as Lancaster. He also appreciates the seeds of life anyplace earthlings call their home.
He’ll get into policies and ideas that create an ecosystem for solid growth.
If you’re pulling for Lancaster (or your favorite hometown), please bring your fan noise, your complaints, and friends to this strategic forum.

His role with Strong Towns involves spending time in towns and cities across the country and meeting with mayors, urban planners, locally focused philanthropists, and many of the best real estate developers revitalizing places. Previously, he was a research analyst at Calvin Edwards & Company, where he provided consulting services to support the giving decisions of major donors. Prior to that, he was a research fellow at the Georgia Center for Opportunity, a state-based public policy think-tank dedicated to increasing opportunity and improving the quality of life for all Georgians.
