The Row House: American Exceptionalism?

December 7, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

The Rowhouse

Is American so exceptional? What’s the origin of this vision? Has it been helpful? What are its pitfalls? Join us for a civil and spirited discussion of the religious and cultural roots of the USA’s sense of self. Yes, this event will be about politics but not be political in the Red/Blue sense. Let’s do something exceptional: Let’s learn, listen, and talk with civility. Wow, what a concept!

Dan Spanjer is Chair of the Arts and Sciences Department and Professor of History at Lancaster Bible College. He earned his PhD at The University of Albany, SUNY and is a popular professor, effective teacher, and engaging presenter. He founded the Alcuin Society, a scholarly organization serving faculty.

$10.00 in advance; $15.00 at door; Row House Members plus one guest are free: Join here.
